Yam flour (Elubo dudu) is use to prepare Àmàlà, which is one of Nigerian local indigenous food. It is native to the Yoruba tribe in the South-western parts of Nigeria. It is made out of sliced, cleaned, dried and then blended into a flour, also called elubo dudu. Yams are white in colour however it will turn yam brown when dried. This gives Yam flour (Elubo dudu) / Àmàlà its colour. Yam flour (Elubo dudu) / Àmàlà is from Western Africa and eaten mostly by the Yoruba people in Nigeria.
